Job summary

Olsson’s Industrial Environmental team seeks a Project Engineer to apply civil/environmental engineering principles across varied assignments. The role involves supervising engineers, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and developing project scopes and budgets.

This position requires a PE license, ABET-accredited degree, and strong communication and design skills. Expect collaboration with clients and other Olsson teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepares planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
• Coordinates staff and manages project scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Performs design calculations and economic analyses for alternative comparisons.
• Directs design tasks, maintains project records, and communicates findings to clients.
• Serves as project manager and ensures on-time, on-budget deliverables.
