Job summary

Olsson's Industrial Environmental team seeks a Civil Engineer to apply engineering principles across projects that improve communities. The project engineer will supervise engineers and technicians, develop design documents, manage budgets, schedules, and ensure client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years of civil/environmental experience, PE licensure, and strong CAD (Civil 3D, AutoCAD) skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience, including design and remediation.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and standard engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
• Coordinates staff and project teams; may supervise lower-level staff.
• Performs design calculations, prepares cost estimates, and analyzes alternatives.
• Manages project scope, schedule, and budget; documents progress and findings.
• Collaborates with Olsson teams; coordinates with clients and attends meetings.
• Produces technical reports, memos, and summaries for clients and teams.
• Serves as project manager for projects.
• Supports marketing and proposal development.
