Jabil seeks an Industrial Engineering Technician II for an onsite startup at the Prince George, VA facility. You will support layout planning, data management in IEDB, and lean process improvements to build reliable production systems for a large, heavy, container-sized equipment project.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Industrial Engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure standardized processes and accurate visuals. On-site work, shift A, no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Understanding and application of broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design).
• Eye for detail when updating systems.
• Basic analytical ability.
• Basic communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC use and software (Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of an area for a line move or process change.
• Update the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) as directed.
• Update/Create production visuals as directed.
• Order, receive and validate tooling as directed.
• Support standardization of Jabil processes site-wide.
• Maintain data integrity to support process improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Follow security procedures and perform additional duties as needed.

The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex. This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.Shift A : Mon - Fri (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)Work Authorization: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
