Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician I to support planning, design, implementation, and management of production and service delivery systems at our Salt Lake City site. You will assist the IE team with line moves, process changes, and data entry in IE systems to ensure performance and cost control.

Responsibilities include revising the IEDB, updating production visuals, tooling validation, and ensuring standardization of processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year experience in a similar role or environment.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering tools such as work measurement, process mapping, and facilities/workstation design.
• Attention to detail; basic analytical ability; good communication.
• Proficiency with PCs; MS Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in area preparation for a line move or process change.
• Revise the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB), as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update or create production visuals as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Order, receive and validate tooling as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site direction.
• Support the Lean organization by maintaining a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement through the organization.
