Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky is seeking an Industrial Eng Tech II to support the Industrial Engineering department in planning, designing, implementing and managing integrated production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. You will help maintain layouts and data in IE related systems.

Key duties include time studies, updating site layouts and process maps, entering configuration data

Qualifications

• Experience applying industrial engineering tools (work measurement, process mapping, facilities/workstation design).
• Detail oriented with data updates and accuracy.
• Basic analytical ability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC and MS Office suite, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of time studies and time estimates.
• Update site layout and project layouts as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update the Key Process maps and process maps as directed.
• Enter configuration data into SAP and MES systems as directed.
• Maintain standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
• Support Lean initiatives and data integrity for process improvement.
