Job summary

Stellantis Detroit is seeking an Industrial Engineering Supervisor to lead plant Industrial Engineers, coordinate staffing with production management and union leadership, and drive productivity improvements across the line.

You will develop hourly and salary staffing plans, assist in building the plant budget and forecasting manpower needs, support SPW initiatives, and partner with corporate industrial engineering teams on data collection, time studies, and ergonomic analyses to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with time and motion studies and development of standardized work.
• Ability to lead a team and work with management and union leadership.
• Strong lean manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant Industrial Engineers and coordinate staffing plans with management and union leadership.
• Develop hourly and salary staffing plans; assist in building the plant budget and manpower forecasting.
• Support SPW initiatives and participate in new program system reviews.
• Conduct indirect labor and ergonomics studies with plant IE team; optimize throughput.
• Assist IE Manager with day-to-day shop floor management and productivity goals.
