Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• Intend to return to school after internship.
• Commit to a minimum 12-week summer internship.
• Foundational knowledge of industrial engineering, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence diverse audiences.
• Interest in continuous learning and taking on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work on internship projects spanning IE disciplines: Manufacturing Execution, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Sales Operations.
• Support manufacturing operations and supply chain improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, business, and information systems teams.
• Learn Gore's culture and contribute to productivity and efficiency.
