Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing preferred.
  • Three+ years of Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success implementing process optimization initiatives and driving efficiency.
  • Ability to evaluate production capabilities, improve operational flow and increase efficiency.
  • Knowledge of facility layout planning, material flow analysis, and production system design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical findings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for improving productivity, capacity, and efficiency.
  • Develop simulation models and analytical tools to evaluate processes and support recommendations.
  • Perform capacity planning, throughput analysis, and bottleneck identification.
  • Evaluate production layouts, material movement, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance and leadership to support CI initiatives.
  • Provide engineering analysis to support equipment investments and expansion projects.
  • Collect, interpret, and present operational data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve stability.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for improving productivity, capacity, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide engineering analysis that supports equipment investments, process improvements, and manufacturing expansion projects.
  • Collect, interpret, and present operational data to help guide strategic business decisions.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve process stability, and increase manufacturing effectiveness.
  • Lead or support projects focused on improving productivity, quality, and manufacturing performance across multiple facilities.
  • Travel to manufacturing locations as needed to support project implementation and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Three or more years of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success implementing process optimization initiatives and driving operational efficiency improvements.
  • Proven ability to evaluate production capabilities, improve operational flow, and identify opportunities to increase manufacturing efficiency.
  • Knowledge of facility layout planning, material flow analysis, and production system design.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the ability to make data driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 percent.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following is considered a plus:

  • Experience with production modeling, process simulation, or digital manufacturing analysis platforms.
  • Power BI or other business intelligence platforms
  • SQL, Python, or data analysis tools
  • ERP or manufacturing execution systems
  • Automation, digital manufacturing, or smart factory initiatives
