Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated team in East London, driving operational excellence and cost-saving initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will mentor engineers, set departmental goals, and align IE efforts with senior leadership to support business objectives.
The role requires a Master’s in Industrial Engineering or related field, 10+ years of progressive IE experience with at least 3 years in leadership, and strong Lean Six
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive industrial engineering experience, with 3+ years in management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of industrial and process engineers to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization, efficiency, and cost reduction across manufacturing operations in East London.
- Oversee design, implementation and validation of new production processes, technologies and equipment.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for the industrial engineering department and operations.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align IE strategies with business goals.
