Lockheed Martin in Texas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead the Industrial Engineering Center of Excellence and manage a team across multiple manufacturing sites. You will own standards, routings, capacity analysis, and scheduling parameters while aligning with program and finance leadership.

You will hire, develop, and retain engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery commitments for production initiatives. US DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related technical discipline.
• 6 years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership of engineers or analysts as a formal supervisor or technical lead.
• Experience owning delivery commitments across multiple concurrent efforts and competing internal customers.
• Working knowledge of labor standards, routings, and ERP production data structures: work centers, lead time, capacity, order execution.
• Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior operations, program, or finance leadership.
• Experience working directly on a factory floor with production, planning, and quality.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance. US citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Lead, staff, and develop a team of industrial engineers supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Set priorities against inbound demand and decide what the team takes on, what it returns with a method, and what it declines.
• Own the team's delivery commitments across standards refresh, capacity and rate analysis, span reduction, and layout and flow work.
• Hold the engineering basis for standards, routings, work center efficiency, and scheduling parameters, and defend that basis to program, finance, and operations leadership.
• Deploy common method across sites so capability lives in the process rather than in individuals.
• Manage staffing plan, workload balance, and charging against program and functional funding.
• Represent the function in governance forums, rate readiness reviews, and capital and footprint decisions.
• Hire, develop, and retain technical talent, including performance management and succession planning.
