Job summary
RTX is seeking an I4.0 & Ops Excellence Industrial Engineer in a hybrid role. You will strengthen consistency, innovation, and maturity across RTX’s digital and operational excellence initiatives, partnering with Centers of Excellence, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to advance factory automation and digital thread capabilities.
Lead continuous improvement, develop Connected Factory metrics, and coach sites while traveling ~30% to various manufacturing locations.
Qualifications
- University degree with extensive manufacturing and automation experience.
- Experience leading large cross-functional projects.
- Familiar with Industry 4.0 and digital thread technologies.
- Willingness to travel 30% as required.
Responsibilities
- Apply industrial engineering methods to optimize processes and factory performance.
- Lead factory automation initiatives and coordinate deployments.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence and engineering teams.
- Coach sites in Connected Factory capabilities and data-driven improvements.
- Develop and report Connected Factory metrics and KPI dashboards.
- Ensure standards and deployment consistency across RTX network.
- Travel to various manufacturing sites up to 30%.
