Sugar Foods Corporation in Villa Rica, GA is seeking an Industrial Engineer intern to support large-scale projects, conduct time studies, process mapping, and data analysis. Reports to Sr Industrial Engineer and gains hands-on experience in problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

You will assist in layout design, equipment placement, and contribute to cost, time, and quality targets while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust priorities.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
• Proficiency in Visio, SQL, and AutoCAD.
• Prior internship or project work in engineering or manufacturing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead or assist in engineering projects using MS Office Applications.
• Perform time studies, process mapping, and cost-benefit analyses to develop standards for current and new processes.
• Support logistics operations with reporting, business analysis, and data management.
• Research best practices, labor productivity programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in layout design and equipment placement as needed.
• Participate in group meetings, provide feedback, and work with other interns or team members.
• Contribute to achieving performance, cost, and quality targets.
