Job summary

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township is seeking a motivated co-op to support industrial engineering projects. You will participate in time studies, methods analysis, and BOM maintenance while layout planning with Google Sketch and ERP-like tools, contributing to cost reduction and process improvements.

You will develop skills in lean techniques such as Kaizen, 6S and value stream mapping, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful process changes.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Must have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year before beginning the co-op rotation.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• Basic experience with data analysis, methods and graphing.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel and Access

Education and experience required:

• Mustbe pursuing a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, or other relevant Engineering discipline, from an ABET-accredited program, and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year before beginning this co-op rotation.
