Job summary

GXO is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Indiana to optimize facility design, analyze production flows, and develop standard operating procedures. You will perform time studies, KPI tracking, and value stream mapping across sites while collaborating with pricing teams on operational costs for RFPs.

The role emphasizes BI tool usage (Tableau/Power BI/Data Studio), strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
1 year of engineering experience.
Experience with analytical tools such as flow charts, Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, etc.

Responsibilities

Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels and product flow.
Develop production time studies and efficiency improvement plans.
Identify bottlenecks and improve flow across inbound, outbound and inventory.
Perform value stream mapping and standardization across sites.
Support pricing and solutions teams with operational cost data for RFPs.
Track KPIs and develop basic analytics for operations.
Collaborate with vendors on equipment and automation solutions.
Develop and manage project plans for major improvements.
Support maintenance with critical spare parts and min/max tracker.
Daily P&L tracking for Finance.
Convert contracts and proposals into work instructions and submit to QMS.
