Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Industrial Engineer to support the Ogden Manufacturing Facility, turning data into improvements in layouts, processes and systems. You will own projects in layout design, 5S, visual management and workflow to reduce cycle time and increase capacity.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel modeling, scheduling and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with experience in aerospace manufacturing and the ability to obtain SAP clearance and a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or related field; 2 years with BS, 0 with Masters.
• U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or proposal estimating.
• Strong Excel modeling, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track hardware deliveries and maintain schedules and metrics for leadership.
• Develop and maintain SQDEC boards with daily metrics.
• Understand capacity, standards and constraints for scheduling.
• Coordinate with product teams and functional orgs to capture requirements.
• Create and present technical briefings for upper management.
