Job summary

Castelion in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to design and scale manufacturing systems behind our mechanical assemblies. You will own the systems-level view of production, model capacity, balance lines, and define standard work to enable scale from prototype builds to high-rate production.

The role integrates process engineering and program execution, translating production data into decisions on equipment, staffing, and layout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, production, or experimental environment with exposure to process or capacity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Model production capacity and takt time across mechanical assembly lines.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, value stream maps, and factory layouts.
• Conduct time studies and line balancing analyses to establish standard work.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback to design engineering for manufacturability at scale.
• Build and maintain production earned value, OEE, and throughput metrics; drive root-cause investigations.
