Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Equipment Engineer specializing in automation and controls to support development and scale-up of wet chemistry manufacturing processes. This role blends hands-on equipment development with controls engineering to design, commission, and optimize automated manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI development, data analysis, equipment qualification, and documenting control logic and procedures to enable robust production scale-up. On-site Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Controls or related field.
• 1+ years of automation & controls experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
