Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive robust quality systems in Welkom, Free State. You will design QMS, analyze defect data, and lead CAPA to reduce non-conformities, elevating product and process quality.

You will work with production, engineering, and R&D to embed quality in new development and changes, train teams, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and statistical quality control principles.
• Proficient with QMS/QC tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and 8D.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing quality control protocols, analyzing defect data, and driving initiatives to reduce non-conformities. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards.
• Analyze product and process non-conformance data to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for production processes.
• Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Requirements
