Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven 3+ years in industrial engineering focusing on process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Minitab).
  • Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Design, develop, and implement optimized production layouts and workflows.
  • Utilize SPC and other analytical tools to monitor and control production quality.
  • Develop and document new SOPs and work instructions.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and equipment for potential implementation to improve efficiency.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to focus on process optimization within their facilities in George . This role is integral to ensuring that our manufacturing and operational processes are as efficient and cost-effective as possible. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to analyze workflows, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence. You will work closely with various departments, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity. This position offers a chance to contribute to tangible improvements within a growing organization and develop expertise in advanced process management techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for process improvement.
