Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineer on-site in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves planning and analyzing equipment layout, workflow, and manpower to maximize plant efficiency.

You will perform time studies, prepare quotes for assemblies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and at least 1 year of experience; MOST or MODE APTS experience is preferred along with AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of industrial engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with MOST or MODE APTS or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze equipment layout, workflow, and workstation movement.
• Perform time studies and evaluate production processes for efficiency.
• Prepare quotes for mechanical assemblies and optimize layouts.
• Support kaizen and cost-reduction initiatives in manufacturing.
• Maintain up-to-date master facility drawings and documents.
• Coordinate with departments to reorganize workflow and manpower.
• Assist pre-production and new launch builds with DFA/DFM feedback.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
