Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing company, seeks an Industrial Engineer I to support the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing and managing integrated production and service delivery systems that ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control at the Wisconsin site.

Main focus is to study work sequences and workflows, recommending methods for maximum utilization of production equipment and personnel to drive

Qualifications

Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office suite including Visio/Project.

Responsibilities

Monitor and continuously improve daily quality/efficiency performance for assigned areas.
Design and procure production tooling, processing equipment and workstations.
Coordinate layout and workstation move activities.
Prepare time estimates for proposed projects and evaluate time factors.
Minimize change over time by ensuring common set-ups where possible.
Verify that machine maintenance is being performed on schedule.
Reduce machine-generated scrap by monitoring data and taking corrective actions.
Reduce manual assembly scrap by monitoring quality data and taking corrective actions.
Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data to improve efficiency.
Adhere to safety, health, and security procedures.
