Job summary

Jabil Memphis is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician II to support the Industrial Engineering team in planning, designing, implementing, and managing manufacturing systems. This role focuses on assisting Industrial Engineers with facility layouts and data within IE systems.

You will update BOM configurations, enter MES data, and help standardize processes across the site while supporting Lean initiatives and data integrity on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Broad range of IE tools (work measurement, process mapping, facility layout, workstation design).
• Strong attention to detail when updating data and systems.
• Basic analytical skills.
• Basic communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing time studies and time estimates.
• Update Key Processes and process maps as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) with BOM configurations and part master data as directed.
• Enter configuration data into the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) including routes, steps, and process times.
• Ensure standardized Jabil processes across the site in line with global/regional/site requirements.
• Support Lean initiatives by maintaining accurate process data and data integrity to drive continuous improvement.
• Support and perform all lower-level Industrial Engineering duties as needed.
• Follow and comply with all company security policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
