Job summary

Cosma International is seeking a packaging specialist to support MST programs, develop plant layouts in AutoCAD, and lead packaging design efforts for new opportunities. You will work with multiple departments to meet timelines and budgets while ensuring quality and safety standards across packaging projects.

Key tasks include RFQ preparation, rack design feedback, and creating unit load instructions with visual references.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging development and supply chain processes.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.
• Proven track record in managing packaging projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Support MST commercial team in quoting potential new business.
• Develop and validate AutoCAD plant layouts for new opportunities.
• Set timelines with the MST Program Manager for packaging and SOP.
• Review rack designs with MST Program Team and provide customer feedback.
• Determine packaging type based on materials, handling, safety and quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to budget and approve packaging purchases.
• Prepare RFQs for rack design and prototyping.
• Track delivery and ensure quantities meet timelines.
• Verify racks function at point of use and quality against tolerances.
• Develop unit load instructions (ULIs) with pictures and update revisions.
• Upload controlled documents to SharePoint.
• Optimize packaging quantities and costs across programs.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment; follow 5S.
