Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design and scale manufacturing systems for mechanical assemblies, owning the systems-level view of production—from capacity modeling to line balancing and layout decisions.

You will partner with design engineering to feedback on manufacturability, build production metrics, and drive data-driven improvements across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or experimental environment with exposure to process or capacity analysis.
• Ability to design and interpret production metrics.

Responsibilities

• Model production capacity and takt time across mechanical assembly lines.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, value stream maps, and factory layouts.
• Conduct time studies and line balancing analyses to establish standard work.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback to ensure manufacturability at scale.
• Build and maintain production earned value, OEE, and throughput metrics; analyze root causes.
