A leading aerospace manufacturer in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for their Manufacturing R&D team. In this role, you will support new and existing Industry 4.0 transformations, ensuring effective manufacturing processes by collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years pertinent Industrial Engineering, Operations Systems Design, or Systems Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct capacity assessments for Man, Machine, and Tool.
  • Plan Facility and Equipment layout.
  • Develop Business Cases for new processes.
  • Create Standards and Planning Work-Flow.
  • Develop Metrics and Targets.
  • Conduct Ergonomics assessments.
  • Implement Visual and Digital Factory concepts.

Manufacturing Technology Industrial Engineering

Bell, a leader in aerospace and US defense industry has an opening for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join ourManufacturing R&D team in Fort Worth, TX to support new and existing Industry 4.0. manufacturing transformations. You will play a key role in enabling the development of new manufacturing processes at the Manufacturing TechnologyCenter (MTC) by supporting R&D projects and assisting in the production of quality products, safely, on time, and on budget for new programs. This position will ensure that we identify, and implement, the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measures) needed to meet these objectives.Additionally, this position will maintain the MTC’s Delmia 3 DExperience model and simulation and assist in theimplementation of Industry 4.0-based concepts and digital transformation in a manufacturing environment.
This highly collaborative position will partner with operations, programs, facilities, Manufacturing Innovation engineers leadership, and outside visitors.

  • S&OP and SIOP Supply Analysis & COE Coordination

Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in Systems, Computer, Industrial or
    Manufacturing
  • At least 5+ years pertinent Industrial Engineering, Operations Systems Design &/or Systems Engineering experience.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiararity with AutoCad (or similar tool)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and other regulatory requirements affecting manufacturing plant layouts
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Project Management Experience
