Job Snapshot: Entry level position developing and coordinating with Manufacturing the strategies and plans that improve productivity. Under management supervision, implements practices to reduce operating expenses, reduce work in progress, and increase production.

What you’ll be doing as an Associate Industrial Engineer

• Learn to summarize, by significant categories, issues that affect manufacturing activity to the Production supervisor.
• Learn to develop crewload/shopload plans and reports.
• Learn to estimate time value or standard in appropriate electronic systems.
• Learn to provide schedule variance figures to manufacturing and assist in weekly performance reports explanations.
• Learn to implement cost reduction ideas (Method Improvements).
• Learn to provide Weekly Activity reports.
• Ensure visual factory information is current at all times.

What you need to be successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering required.
