Job summary

AMAX is seeking a manufacturing professional to develop and refine processes that ensure product functionality while reducing costs at our Fremont site. The role focuses on analyzing operations, driving continuous improvement, and implementing equipment, fixtures, and automation to strengthen efficiency.

Ideal candidates will design production layouts, estimate standard processing times for planning and cost estimation, and meet department milestones.

Qualifications

BS, MS or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
Experience in an electronic devices manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain product functionality and cost efficiency.
Analyze operations and manufacturing processes and drive for continuous improvement.
Evaluate and implement equipment/tools/fixtures/automation to aid in the manufacturing process.
Design and improve production layout.
Estimate and improve standard manufacturing processing time for production planning and cost estimation.
Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
