We are looking for a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team, supporting the F-35 production operations team in the Wing Systems build area in an shop floor/analytics role. This role is key in optimizing production processes by monitoring metrics to drive continuous improvement, supporting our production customers, and maintaining operational excellence.

Production Process Optimization

  • Enhance production activities by implementing analytical techniques and utilizing various data and data visualization tools.
  • Monitor production health metrics, ensuring timely identification of potential issues and areas for improvement.
Project Management
  • Lead projects focused on production efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of solutions into the production environment.
Collaboration And Support
  • Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and various production support functions to align objectives and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring production goals are met while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

Who You Are
  • You are a driven and resourceful Industrial Engineer with a strong background in optimizing production environments.

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in the build proces. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, Production work sampling, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans for efficiencies and revisions to operating methods. Assist in various continuous improvement efforts to enable cost reductions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Experience applying Industrial Engineering principles in industry, which could include, production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, or capacity/resource planning
  • Experience creating reporting metrics related to cost and schedule
Desired Skills
  • Experience with analytical and project planning tools and software, including MS Office Suite
  • Experience with statistical analysis (regression analysis, statistical process control, R, Python, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with database operations (data mining, SQL statements)
  • Experience Working with Business Objects (BO) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
  • Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA/ 5s/ 6s, etc.) or experience applying Lean manufacturing principles & implementing continuous improvements
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
