Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) in De Pere, Wisconsin, seeks an Industrial Engineer onsite to optimize manufacturing layouts and processes across PDQ facilities. You will justify capital equipment, develop efficient process flows, and support product transitions from R&D to production.

The role requires CAD experience, Lean knowledge, and strong communication skills to collaborate with design, production, and QA teams while upholding OSHA and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• Experience with manufacturing processes for engineered products.
• CAD experience; Oracle and Lean knowledge preferred.
• OSHA and environmental standards knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing functions and layouts for all PDQ facilities.
• Prepare economic justification for capital equipment procurement and installation.
• Determine process flow and improve assembly/fabrication processes.
• Support R&D for manufacturability and cost reduction; assist in transitioning new products to production.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing initiatives and ensure safety programs and PPE compliance.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering on ECNs and staff training on assembly techniques.
