Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Industrial Engineer to independently lead engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. You will apply lean principles and data-driven methods to enhance safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

You will serve as a technical resource for plant engineering teams, lead moderately complex projects, identify non-routine issues, and propose scalable solutions to improve manufacturing systems and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Production, Automotive, or related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead studies and analyze processes, throughput, labor utilization, ergonomic risks, takt time, cycle time, and bottlenecks.
