Job summary

Adient plc in Georgetown, KY is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process improvement, plant layout optimization, labor analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop efficient production processes, support equipment installations and product launches, maintain CAD layouts, perform labor analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost productivity, quality, and cost performance.

This is a first-shift, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Experience developing manufacturing layouts and workflow improvements.
• Proficiency with CAD software and facility layout design.
• Knowledge of labor standards development and labor measurement systems.
• Experience analyzing productivity, labor efficiency, and operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant layouts and manufacturing concepts for new and existing processes.
• Design, source, quote, order, and expedite material handling equipment.
• Analyze labor utilization and productivity data; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare data and analysis to support capital expenditure evaluations and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve operational performance.
