Job summary

The ideal candidate is a Junior or Senior in an accredited bachelor’s program in Industrial Engineering or a related major, possessing strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in software tools is necessary for efficient project completion.

Working with the engineering team, this intern will gain experience/knowledge with Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Stamping. They will work in an office/manufacturing environment, steel toe boots will be required.

Main Job Duties

• Data Analysis: predictive modeling, data aggregation/summarization
• Automated reporting: Use VBA or R to create reports then store in Access, SQL Server
• Root Cause Investigation: Both manual investigation and data analysis to determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies within the facility.
• Process improvement: Time studies, standard operating procedure documentation, process mapping.
• Manual and systematic data collection
• Process optimization.
• Ability to communicate.
• Ability to multi-task
• Meet critical deadlines.
• Interact with managers, staff, and floor workers.

Qualifications

Education
