Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) seeks an Industrial Engineer to design and optimize scalable vehicle/product assembly lines in manufacturing. You will develop feeder cells, balance lines, and improve throughput while ensuring safety and quality.

Collaboration with ISG, Production Leadership, and Quality Assurance is essential, with travel as needed. We value lean practitioners who can model capacity, analyze data in Excel, and apply ERP/MRP tools to improve production economics.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering principles and time studies.
• Lean manufacturing tools and standard work knowledge.
• Facility layout and material flow optimization.
• Capacity planning and production modeling.
• ERP/MRP systems experience.
• Data analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Production economics and cost analysis.
• Understanding of fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable vehicle/product assembly lines.
• Develop feeder cells to support main line flow.
• Perform line balancing based on takt time and demand forecasts.
• Conduct time studies and labor utilization analysis.
• Assist in developing standard work documentation.
• Optimize material presentation and flow to point-of-use.
• Analyze and improve production capacity constraints.
• Support layout redesigns to improve throughput and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks.
• Support new product introductions with line integration planning.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure manufacturable designs.
• Travel as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
