Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) seeks an Industrial Engineer to design and optimize scalable vehicle/product assembly lines for high-volume production. You will develop feeder cells, perform takt-based line balancing, and drive labor utilization improvements across the manufacturing floor.

Collaborate with ISG, Production Leadership, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Program Management to ensure manufacturable designs, safety, and continuous improvement. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience with production system design and line balancing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and time studies.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable vehicle/product assembly lines.
• Develop feeder cells to support main line flow.
• Perform line balancing based on takt time and demand forecasts.
• Conduct time studies and labor utilization analysis.
• Assist in developing standard work documentation.
• Optimize material flow to point-of-use.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure manufacturable designs.
