Job summary

BDS Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers Industrial Engineering organization is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the EMIC in Tukwila, WA. You will partner with Operations and support teams to build, modify, test and deliver the EMIC, focusing on executing the statement of work and optimizing the production system.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field and 5+ years of engineering experience, with willingness to work in a fabrication/shop floor environment and strong data

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering-related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
• Experience in a fabrication/shop floor environment and adherence to safety requirements.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and support teams to build, modify, test and deliver EMIC.
• Execute committed statement of work and optimize the production system.
• Conduct strategic studies, capability and capacity planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate work transfer and interface with internal customers and program management.
