Job summary

Franklin Electric is seeking an Industrial Engineer II in Wilburton, OK. You will investigate and implement methods to produce the right product at the lowest cost, determine labor standards, layouts, and process improvements while planning manpower and material flow.

Responsibilities include analyzing ergonomic data, leading safety investigations, evaluating indirect labor, and coordinating with marketing, accounting, and data processing. Bachelor’s degree and Lean/Kaizen experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of related experience.
• Lean manufacturing and Kaizen implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates labor standards and establishes time standards.
• Analyzes ergonomic data to minimize total cost.
• Leads safety investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Evaluates indirect labor and material handling.
• Maintains plant and departmental layouts.
• Prepares operations planning and interfaces with other departments.
• Specifies and implements material handling equipment.
