Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join our team. You will work cross-functionally with Quality, Program Management, Logistics, Planning, and Manufacturing to improve processes, layout workstations, and optimize production flow.

Responsibilities include applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, conducting time studies, developing Value Stream Maps, supporting 5S, Kaizen events, and creating standard work documentation to ensure TAKT-time driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar required with 3+ years of related experience.
• Associates degree in a technical or STEM field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of IE processes, concepts and procedures; manufacturing planning knowledge; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Quality, Program Management, Logistics, Planning, and Manufacturing to implement new products or processes.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and CI methodologies to support the Operations Value Stream from Receiving to Shipping.
• Develop and execute Value Stream Maps (current and future) per Lean Operations Roadmap.
• Support 5S program and Kaizen events.
• Develop shop floor documentation and standard work instructions.
• Maintain routings and layouts for final assembly and optimize material flow.
