Job summary

Terumo Neuro in Aliso Viejo, CA seeks a manufacturing operations professional to lead capacity analysis, layout optimization and performance improvements across the production floor.

You will design processes for new products, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage process validation and product transfers, and develop manufacturing documents to sustain high quality and efficiency.

Job description

Support manufacturing of products for medical devices with work including operational systems development, process flow, operational needs and process efficiencies. Lead capacity analysis, layout management, systems support, Lean programs and improvement projects. Fulfill project management role for standardization projects supporting the operational excellence goals.

• Design and develop operational system processes for new products, product changes and enhancements
• Improve process efficiencies and product flow
• Lead cross-functional teams as part of operational activities and excel in managing projects with minimal supervision
• Manage operational systems including training of operators and coordination with production planning
• Analyze operational data and improve processes to ensure manufacturing demands are met on a consistent basis
• Ability to set up and initiate new manufacturing line(s), including purchasing, implementing, and creating layout improvements
• Interface with other departments to solve production problems
• Analyze data and improve processes to assure robust/repeatable manufacturing processes
• Confer with appropriate departments, resources, and/or outside services to prepare process modifications, clarify problems, and develop processes
• Manage process validation and product transfer activities across different manufacturing facilities
• Review and develop manufacturing documents (MP, Routers, BOM, etc.)
• Perform Capacity Analysis with reports and recommendations
• Lead cost reduction projects obtaining the metrics and running the Lean tools
• 6 Sigma Projects/Kaizen Events/Evaluate Production Improvement ideas
• Create all layouts for lines using “AutoCAD” and “Sketch-up” software
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range:

$79,734 - $99,667 Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demands.
