Has the ability to create production layouts, define and improve processes, increase productivity, estimate production costs, evaluate make vs buy decisions, evaluate capital equipment needs and provide justification for capital purchases. Also has a general understanding of the operational flow of ERP (preferably Infor Visual ERP).**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to help create VSM, Workplace organization 6S, calculate cycle time, calculate takt time, and perform time studies* Create or improve production layouts* Evaluate capital equipment needs and provide justification as a business case* Collaborate with CPQ modelling team members to ensure the data flow between CPQ and ERP* Develop and maintain the Part Masters, Bill of Materials (BOM), routings and corresponding modules that capture and improve the production processes with the required granularity* Collaborate with different departments to evaluate and document the operational processes and scenarios to identify problems and requirements, develop strategies, build solutions, and bridge the gaps where applies* Participate and lead in product life cycle maintenances across multiple product lines.* Maintain production technology systems and train operators on proper use**Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:*** Bachelor of Science in Engineering or in a related field* Moderate Lean Manufacturing Background preferred* Exposure to MRP/ERP* Moderate Knowledge of Supply chain and/or Operation* Experience in manufacturing product data strongly preferred* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities* Moderate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel* Proficiency or experience in data analysis tools, SQL preferred* Excellent organizational and time-management skills* Strong team player skills, self-starter, and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce* 0-2 year experience in manufacturing environment with exposure to Lean and Six Sigma**Work Environment & Hazards*** Office and manufacturing plant* Exposure to noise, metal chips, and machining fluids.* Potential exposure to machinery and equipment hazards.**Special Physical Demands*** Standing, walking, bending, and reaching in a manufacturing environment.* Lifting and moving tools, fixtures, and materialsVantage Elevation, LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
