Job summary

GlobalFoundries’ Central Industrial Engineering (CIE) organization seeks an Industrial Engineer for our global team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related field, graduating in 2027.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 with demonstrated academic achievement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present data.
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement via coursework, projects, internships, or research.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support factory capacity planning and modeling activities to ensure efficient utilization of manufacturing resources.
• Analyze factory performance and data to identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and cycle time improvements.
• Develop and maintain factory layouts that support space optimization and growth.
• Partner with teams across global sites to standardize and implement best practices.
• Develop, track, and maintain KPIs and reporting tools to support business objectives.
• Support capital planning initiatives through data analysis and resource utilization assessments.
• Manage and maintain data systems, models, and analytical tools used for industrial engineering decision-making.
