Job summary

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our production facility modernization team at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

The role focuses on designing layouts, upgrading equipment, and coordinating with vendors to improve productivity while meeting safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or industrial engineering degree with 1–5 years of manufacturing experience, strong project management, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with 1–5 years of experience.
• Project management experience.
• Pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player able to multitask and prioritize.
• Basic PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design layout improvements and equipment upgrades to maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility modernization.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and brief updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
