Job summary

Celestica is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Richardson, TX to support engineering and Facilities/Real Estate operations. The role focuses on site utilities production, compliance with local and government regulations, and technical direction to facilities staff.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate contractor services, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to six years of relevant experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.

Responsibilities

• Production of site utilities (gas, water, electricity) for manufacturing.
• Ensures facility is in compliance with local and government regulations.
• Provides technical direction to facilities staff and directs non-routine work.
• Plans equipment placement and replacement with management and technical staff.
• Coordinates contract services, inspections and audits.
• Manages multiple projects with solid project management skills.
• Drives supplier/contractor selection and ensures proper drawings and docs.
• Monitors and reports progress including quality, schedule, safety and productivity.
• Ensures ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standards compliance.
• Manages EHS functions including health, claims management, industrial hygiene and safety.
• Ensures ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standards compliance.
• Responsible for design, deployment and support of Celestica's Energy Management.
• Collaborates with energy staff to meet objectives and implement plans.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety programs and regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering standards and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to manage several projects and coordinate changing deadlines.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
