Job summary

Stord is the Consumer Experience Company powering seamless checkout through delivery for leading brands. The Industrial Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and scaling operational systems to support network growth and new warehouse launches.

You will lead network-wide initiatives, develop standardized labor models, and partner with Operations, Continuous Improvement, and Finance to align cost and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• Experience building labor models, time studies, and engineered labor standards.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for modeling and data analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state layouts, labor models, and workflows for new sites and acquisitions.
• Lead industrial engineering workstreams for acquisitions and new warehouse launches from diligence through go-live.
• Own and drive network-wide initiatives to improve labor productivity and reduce cost per unit.
• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards using time studies and data.
• Partner with LMS, Operations, and Finance to align labor planning inputs and cost models.
• Identify inefficiencies and scale risks; implement solutions to prevent cost growth.
• Serve as SME in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and mentor CI Engineers.
