Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Manchester, CT is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design smarter operations across a multi-building campus, merging engineering with strategic thinking to boost productivity and long-term growth.

You will partner with campus leadership and cross-functional teams to implement activity-based costing, MOST labor standards, and time-study analytics that influence budgeting, staffing, and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
• Proven track record in productivity improvements within distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CAD drawings for complex, multi-building distribution campuses and translate requirements into facility layouts.
• Analyze workflows, material handling, and space utilization to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST methodology and train teams.
• Evaluate and enhance labor models to improve productivity and simplify operations.
• Support business case development, capital planning, and operational decision-making as the IE SME.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners on engineering requirements and permitting activities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to optimize incentive programs and performance metrics.
• Build relationships with industry experts to stay current on best practices and trends.
