Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in our distribution centers. You will partner with operations and leadership to boost productivity, throughput, and safety using data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the distribution center systems, including automation and warehouse management systems.
Identify continuous improvement projects and implement changes to improve productivity, throughput, and safety.
Use data and analytics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
Propose enhancements to automated systems to improve service metrics, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with management to develop and maintain cost control systems to meet budgets.
Assist in implementing labor management standards for hourly work functions and evaluate existing standards.
Evaluate current use of equipment or deployment of new automated equipment to improve productivity, throughput, and safety.
