Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize distribution center operations, design warehouse layouts, refine workflows, and manage labor standards within LMS. The role supports safety, efficiency, and performance dashboards across multiple sites, including Brentwood, TN.

Requirements include 1–3 years in distribution/fulfillment or related fields, a B.S. in industrial engineering, and proficiency with data tools (SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau). Hybrid work possible.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of distribution/fulfillment or operations engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering preferred.
• Experience with engineered labor standards is a plus.
• Experience with WMS/LMS systems (Manhattan strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Model capacity, throughput, and staffing for daily operations, peak planning, and S&OP scenarios.
• Develop standards of work (SOPs), ergonomics improvements, and safety by design with EHS partners.
• Lead cost/benefit analyses and capital justifications for process changes and MHE.
• Build, validate, and maintain engineered labor standards using time study and methods analysis.
• Create repeatable datasets and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for KPIs such as UPH, lines/hr, dock-to-stock, and incentive payout accuracy.
