Job summary

Globe Machine Manufacturing Company in Tacoma, WA seeks an Industrial Engineer to translate customer needs into tailored manufacturing solutions. You will partner with Sales to develop technical and commercial proposals, including 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and process flow studies.

You’ll read drawings, analyze costs, and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences while collaborating with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience with automation, PLCs, and robotics is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and translate requirements into proposals.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into tailored manufacturing proposals.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals, 2D/3D drawings, renderings.
• Estimate costs and perform cost analyses with internal teams.
• Present solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams.
• Create process flow diagrams and capacity studies.
