FreshDirect, LLC is hiring an Industrial Engineer – Continuous Improvement to analyze and optimize operational processes on the production floor. You will observe workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design data‑driven improvements to raise productivity, quality, and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, operations, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or related field; internship or co-op considered.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis, with ability to query databases for analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Spend substantial time on the production floor observing processes and identifying inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement scheduling methods to optimize distribution and resources.
• Draft and maintain SOPs and standard work; partner with multiple teams on improvements.
• Lead projects from start to finish with cost justification, planning, and go-live support.
