Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize lithium-ion battery assembly lines, improve safety and efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will analyze processes, balance lines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing excellence.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in manufacturing, strong Lean skills, and experience with SAP and robotics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
1–2+ years in manufacturing/production environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean, process optimization, time studies, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with laser welding or battery manufacturing is a plus.
Experience with KUKA robotics, SAP modules, and AutoCAD is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize lithium-ion battery assembly workflows to improve throughput.
Conduct time studies, motion analysis, and line balancing to reduce waste.
Monitor OEE, cycle time, scrap, downtime, and productivity trends.
Develop SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
Lead Lean initiatives and CAPA activities to improve safety and quality.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
