Job summary
FedEx Ground is seeking an Engineering professional to analyze performance data, support automation and material handling systems, and contribute to the design, installation, and testing of sortation facilities. You will provide analysis, reporting tools, and cost justifications while participating on cross‑functional project teams.
The preferred location is Pittsburgh, PA for hybrid work, with on‑site requirements several times per week for nearby candidates; travel is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Disciplines may be in Automation, Facilities & Material Handling, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Security Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes performance data within engineering and uses tools to answer basic questions.
- Prepares expenditure proposals and cost justification analyses with guidance.
- Develops progress reports, meeting minutes and field memos for management review.
- Participates in project management fundamentals and creates status updates.
